Applications must be submitted by September 11 through the Department for Children and Families (DCF) website at www.dcfapp.kees.ks.gov.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
I know school hasn't officially started, but I need to inform you of an important schedule change in September. To further enhance our commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for all students, our staff will be participating in a two-day training on Capturing Kids' Hearts.
As a result, school will be canceled for KMHS students ONLY on September 11th and 12th to allow our team to fully engage in this valuable professional development opportunity. Capturing Kids' Hearts is a program focused on building relationships, creating a strong classroom culture, and equipping our staff with tools to better support your children both academically and emotionally.
I understand that this may cause some inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our school community. Please ensure that you make necessary arrangements for your children on September 11th and 12th. After school practices and activities will continue as scheduled on the these two days. School will resume as normal on Friday, the 13th.
Thank you for your continued support in our efforts to provide the best possible education for your children. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
