I am beyond excited to serve as a principal at Norwich Schools. I have called the Norwich area my home for many wonderful years and believe there is no better place to live and raise a family. We have a great school system and I am honored to serve the students, staff and entire community.

I graduated from Kingman High School before getting my Bachelor's degree from Wichita State University. I was a substitute teacher for a semester and fell in love with the Norwich community. I was offered my first teaching position as a Norwich 1st grade teacher in 1993 and it has been my home ever since!

After teaching for 25 years at Norwich as a kindergarten, first and third grade teacher, I earned a Master's in School Leadership from Emporia State University and was fortunate to have the opportunity to be the Pk-6th grade building principal in 2018. In 2023 I was appointed the Pk-12 principal.

My husband Doug and I live in the Suppesville area. We are blessed to share seven children, six daughters and one son! They are all grown and living on their own throughout the country. Some are as close as Wichita, others as far as Texas, Idaho and New York. Spending time with them and our growing number of grandchildren is our greatest joy!

My goals are to foster a welcoming, respectful and safe learning environment where all staff and students BELIEVE in each other and their abilities to achieve at their highest potential!
