Non-Resident Enrollment
In accordance with Kansas Statute 72-3123 and USD 331 Board Policy JBCC, USD 331 will consider transfer requests of non-resident students based on capacity and good standing. Parents wishing to request a non-resident transfer must complete the Non-Resident Transfer Request Form. The form can be accessed using this link (Transfer Request Form), or parents can complete a paper form at the USD 331 District Office at 115 N. Main, Kingman, KS, 67068. In order to receive notification of the transfer decision by July 15, transfer requests must be received by 11:59 pm on June 30. Provided spots remain open, transfer requests received after June 30 will be considered in the order they are received. If you have questions regarding the transfer process or need assistance with the application, please contact Angie Brannan at (620)532-3134 or abrannan@knusd331.com.
The USD 331 Board of Education has reviewed 24-25 enrollment projections to determine our capacity to consider non-resident transfer requests. Based on the projected enrollment and capacity to operate effectively, USD 331 will accept nonresident students as outlined in the table below.
